A couple of days ago there were rumors telling that the notorious ID Software has canceled the next, a fourth series of the famous shooter Doom. In the online came a part of the materials of the developer.
However, the publisher of the upcoming blockbuster – Bethesda – today denied the rumors and said that the development of the Doom 4 is not canceled and will be conducted in accordance with the original plans. The site about the game Gamespot published the quote of the publisher: “Doom 4 is not canceled. When we are ready to talk about this game, we’ll let you know, guys”. But is it really relevant to this leaked material with the Doom 4, it still needs to be disclosed.
Recently has been published a whole bunch, 170 in total, screenshots allegedly from the Doom 4 in its current state. And judging by these screenshots, the new series is quite different in style and the atmosphere of the past games, play up the theme of “the hell on the Earth” or of “the hell on the Mars”.
